Mesopotamia is cradle of civilization,humanity and religion .It has thousands years of history. You can disvocer a experience of history and culture. You will visit important destinations of Neolithic sites such as Göbeklitepe(9600 BC-8200 BC) and Karahantepe(9500 BC-8000 BC).

Then you will smell of history between beautiful stone street of Mardin. It has a big culture of architecture and religions. There are Muslims, Syriacs\Assyrians, Christian, Turks, Kurds, Arabs and Yazidi population in Mardin.

And last destination will be Diyarbakir. You can see impressive city walls, historic inns and beautiful Tigris River.


Tour Program

DAY 1

-We will go Sanliurfa Airport.Our car will be ready and we will move to Harran.

-Harran Beehive Houses – It is most unique settlement example of mesopotamia.

-Harran Grand Mosque – It built in 8th century and it is one of the oldest mosque in Anatolia.

-Karahantepe Neolithic Site – It built about 11.000 years ago.The same time as Göbeklitepe

-Tradional Urfa Night – You can fun and explore Urfa culture at this special night

-You will go to your hotel and free time


DAY 2 
-Breakfast at hotel
-Balikligöl(Pool of Sacred Fish) – This destination is a holy area believed to be the place where Prophet Abraham was thrown into the fire
-Halil-ur Rahman Mosque – It is very important place around the Balikligöl.
-Cave of Prophet Abraham – The cave is believed to be he birthplace of Prophet Abraham
-Gümrük Han – It is a historical Ottoman caravanserai. You can feel the tradional bazaar atmosphere.
-Göbeklitepe Neolithic Site – The world’s oldest temple complex. It built around 9600 BC.
Afternoon departure to Mardin
-Mardin Stone Houses – You can explore famous Mardin Houses overlooking the Mesopotamian Plain
-Abbaras – You will explore the narrow streets of Old Mardin 
-Revaklı Bazaar – This Bazaar is tradional market of historical trade culture of the Mardin
-Carpenters Coffee House – You can explore Mardin coffee culture in one of the oldest coffee houses in city
-Mardin Grand Mosque – It built 12th century by Artuqid
-Sahtana Mansion – This mansion is example of Traditional Mardin Architecture.
-Old Mardin Street Walk – You will walk narrow street of Mardin with impressive view of  mesopotamia plains
-Return to your hotel and free time

DAY 3
-Breakfast at hotel
-Dara Ancient  City – This city is a important Roman frontier city and it is a important military settlements
-Dara Necropolis – You can feel history when you walk between monumental tomb structures at rock-cut burial area
-Acropolis – This place is highest part of the ancient city. It was an administrative and defensive area
-Ancient Cistern – This cistern is a large underground water storage system carved into the rock
Midyat Visit:
-Midyat Bazaar – You can see traditional silver filigree craftsmanship and stone architecture.It is very famous and just you can find in Midyat.
-Mor Gabriel Monastery – It was founded in 397 AD. This Monastery is one of the oldest Syriac Orthodox monasteries on the world
-Return to Mardin and overnight stay

DAY 4
-Breakfast at hotel
-Departure to Diyarbakır
-Zerzevan Castle – We know this place for the Mithras Temple. It was a Roman military settlement 
-Diyarbakır Grand Mosque – It is one of the oldest mosque in Anatolia. This mosque an important example of Islamic architecture
-Hashan Pasha Caravanserai – This place is a historical Ottoman Inn.
-Surp Grigos Church – It is an important Armenian heritage church.
-Mar Petyun(St.Peter) Church – This is a historic Syriac Christian Church
-Four Legget Minaret – This Minarets is unique because it standing on four stone columns 
-Ten Eyed Bridge – It was built 1065 during in Artuqid period.This place has fascinating view.

Cancellations 15 Days or Less: Cancellations made 15 days or less before the tour date will not receive any refund.

Weather and Natural Disasters: Cancellations due to unexpected situations such as weather conditions or natural disasters will be subject to the suppliers' own policies.
